Gay DVD shack is actually the same site as Absolutely Male. The only problem here would be if you have signed up to Absolutely Male, because then you have already signed up to
Gay DVD shack. But if this is your first visit then it's a great place to come to download movies without restrictions. There are many gay hard-core DVDs on offer but make sure you have a full membership in order to access all the content here. And if you're not sure that this is the right place for you then take the trial membership.
I did notice a strange piece of code popped up when I first went to the home page inside
Gay DVD shack, but otherwise everything worked according to plan. On this page they had featured the most recent release and here was also the first page of the ‘all DVDs’ listings. However, there is a category list to your left with 12 categories, and these include the likes of teens, bears, ebony guy and studs. Simply click your selection to move to that category and there you get nine cover shots per index page. If you're into seeing the back of a box-shot simply hover your mouse. And from there it's off to what we came to see, the DVDs themselves.
Gay DVD shack gives you some information about each movie; there was a short description, some screen caps to give you an idea of what takes place, and there was some technical information too. You can stream in WMV, and WMV only, but there are four qualities to choose from and these will be suitable for dial-up to broadband users. You are allowed to download these DVDs though file sizes can be on the larger side, and there was a fairly sluggish transfer rate of only 55kb. However, having waited all that time, you will find the quality of what you get is good.
On the downside there is not so much information about the studios. There were some titles here that were familiar, and there were some studio names that I'd heard of, in fact there were 40 studios taking part in the collection, but if you click a studio name you only get the titles of their videos. This also applies to the stars themselves, although there were 689 names and these linked to their various DVDs, there were no stats or other information.
Mind you we came here for the movies and not the information, and you can also use
Gay DVD shack for collecting pics. In the galleries area I found around 90 sets of good, digital and well taken photos with both solos and action sets. And, just as with the videos, you can sort through these by category; these range from Asians to hard-core and numbers of photos per set vary from 30 up to more than 200. Okay, so these aren't exclusive images, at least not all of them, and there's very little information about who these men are or where they come from, but you do get to see some good quality guys, plenty of naked flesh, and many hard-core images.
Don't forget to check your membership status. Apparently I had access to a live cam and a dating site. But I could find only the free access that anyone is entitled to. Not to worry, I had plenty of hot and hard-core DVDs to download.
