It's a pitty that all this cutting-edge content isn't wrapped up in a little more of a cutting-edge package. Enjoyable as it all is, it's strange to see such huge budges thrown behind non-HD content, still saddled with digital rights management policies even as most of the industry has already ditched those methods in favor of sheer market dynamics and letting users enjoy their downloads how and when they want. OS-limitations also play into the equasion -- only Windows users need even bother downloading videos from
Xtra Inches, as users of other operating systems won't be able to play them due to the closed nature of the Windows Media Video rights schema.
Still, if you know you're in for an old-school experience from the user's perspective, you'll still likely end up joining
Xtra Inches to feed your size fetish. The videos, though not retainable on your local system, are incredibly hot, culled from some of the big, big titles, and compressed at a generous 1 Mbps for streaming by the bandwidth-enabled. Lower-quality versions are available as well, of course.

Xtra Inches are nicely large, and extremely well produced. Many of them are taken on-set for purposes of promotion, and the budget behind efforts like that can't be argued with. The shots from the amateur section, though not as flashy as the production photos, are large, and in many cases more plentiful. You'll be able to keep any photos you download during your membership, naturally, and if you're like me, you'll refer to them often in moments of... enjoyment.
